June 3 was a bittersweet day at Community Preparatory School as a dedication ceremony took place for Anaija Griffin, Class of 2020.

We were grateful to welcome Anaija's family, friends, classmates, and dog, Paris, as we unveiled the newest addition to the school. The garden trellis bench is decorated with a plaque that reads "In Memory of Anaija Griffin, Class of 2020." Next to the bench is a painting of Anaija, wearing her favorite color blue, standing in front of the Eiffel Tower by a donut tree—which encapsulates some of Anaija's favorite things.
